In 1991, we set out to provide quality furniture at a price everyone can afford, in a fun and haggle-free environment. No phony sales. No phony gimmicks. No hassles. Bob Kaufman opened his first Bob’s Discount Furniture store in Newington, Connecticut on the principle of providing unsurpassed value with honesty and integrity. That’s what we call “the Bob’s Way”, and it guides everything we do to this day.
Not only are we committed to creating an enjoyable experience for our customers but we are also committed to giving back to the community. To commemorate the opening of the Fresno store, as well as six another store launches, Bob’s donated $35,000 to support 14 local elementary and high schools as part of the Bob’s Outreach Program.
